Redecoration of our Kirk: In order for the redecoration of the church, it will be necessary for us to vacate the building for scaffolding to be erected to allow the painters to progress the work. The last Sunday service in the church before the work proceeds will be Sunday 6 May. The estimated schedule for the work is 3 weeks. We hope to return to the redecorated Sanctuary in June. During this time our Sunday services will be held in the church hall at the usual time.
REAL EASTER EGGS
It's hard to believe that, out of the whopping 80 million chocolate Easter Eggs sold each year, not one of them mentions Jesus on the box. Until now that is.
The Real Easter Egg (125g) is the first and only Fairtrade chocolate Easter Egg to explain the Christian understanding of Easter on the box – and it comes with a free 8-page illustrated story book.
You can pre-order today or the next two Sundays (form at the back of the Church + a sample to view) and they will be available to collect at the Fairtrade stall later in March. Each costs £3.99
Buying these eggs supports our Fairtrade efforts, supports other charities and helps us remember why we have Easter eggs at all – YUM!
