HOUSTON AND KILLELLAN KIRK (SC 012822) – THE UNITARY FORM OF CONSTITUTION – THE KIRK SESSION.

 

On the 24th April 2012, as duly authorised by the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, and having been approved by the Kirk Session and Congregation of Houston and Killellan Kirk and Presbytery of Greenock and Paisley, the control of the affairs of the Congregation , both spiritual and temporal ,  is now vested in the Kirk Session under the said Unitary form of Constitution.

Team leaders (or their representatives), together with the Moderator, Session Clerk and Deputy Session Clerk, will form the Co-ordinating and Supervisory group (CSG) and they will meet 7/10 days before each Session meeting to consider team reports and plan the agenda.

It will be noted that some members do not appear on any of the teams as they already are involved in ongoing Church work e.g. building extension project.  However, if any member not shown wishes to be involved in a team or if any member would prefer to work in another team please speak to Helen Dunn on (01505)614266 or e-mail her at Helen @welldunn.co.uk

It is proposed that Session meetings will be held every 2 months with meetings falling on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Mondays in rotation. Dates of all meetings for the forthcoming year will be intimated.
