NO Early Communion Service at 09 45 this Sunday (2nd April)

The DEC is the Disasters Emergency Committee, which is the umbrella organisation

of 13 leading UK aid agencies to raise money at times of humanitarian crisis.

Working together they raise more money to save lives and rebuild shattered

communities than by working alone.  One of the member organisations is Christian

Aid. The current appeal is for the East Africa Crisis. Hunger is looming on a  massive

scale in South Sudan, Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia because of drought and conflict.

Already 16 million people are on the brink of starvation and at least 800,000 children

are severely malnourished. The UK government is doubling contributions up to

£10 million through UK Aid Match. So if you haven't had a chance to donate you can
