Programme/Activities:
The theme this session, chosen by the Guild’s National Committee, has been ‘A Faith to proclaim’ and this has underlined the Guild’s programme for the session just ending.
A full varied programme of topics and speakers was published at the beginning of 2012/2013 session and dates set for the Guild’s fund raising events and other activities.
Events have all been well advertised and, as in years past, well supported and successful.
Meetings commence and close with a short act of worship.
This visit coincided with the AGM and our Minister, Donald, was unable to attend and James McBeath was indisposed. In the circumstances, the AGM was chaired by Dennis Holdbrook.

Facilities
Meetings continue to be held fortnightly in the small hall.
Points raised by Leaders.
During AOCB at the AGM, a suggestion was made that consideration should be given to re-organising the seating arrangements for the next session when the Guild will be meeting in the large hall. The Convener undertook to put this on the agenda of the first Committee meeting for discussion.

Points raised by Elder:
At the close of the AGM, the Convener, the Officers and members of the Guild were thanked by the Chairman for their steadfast loyalty and unselfish service to the Kirk. The Guild had a strong membership and was well led and their continuing support was much appreciated by the Minister, Kirk Session and congregation. The Guild’s money raising events have allowed £1400 to be transferred to Church funds and £2900 distributed to 13 Charities.
The good attendance at Guild meetings and successful events is evidence of their continuing success and ongoing support of our Kirk. It was noted that a number of members have very active rolls in other areas of Kirk life.
