Guides are between the age of ten and 14.Being a Guide is about belonging to a group, learning new skills, making new friends and helping others.
In Houston and Crosslee there are 2 Guide units, which meet on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

Houston Guides and Brownies
The two Guide companies and the four Brownie packs have had a very busy year, with pack holidays, outings and lots of Brownie badges earned and Guide Go for Its completed.
The Brownies looked great in the Carnival parade and were just narrowly beaten by the Boys Brigade in the fancy dress competition. What a great turn out we had – about 70 girls! See Photograph.
The Session finished with a Jubilee Party, where the girls dressed in Jubilee colours enjoyed a Treasure hunt, carnival games and Games from yesteryear as well as crafts and a jubilee picnic. Each girl was presented with a very special Jubilee Badge as a reminder of this special event. The evening finished with some rousing singing !
