Being a Brownie is all about having loads of fun and a huge adventure! To be A Brownie you have to be a girl aged between 7 and 10 years old.

Brownies Trip to the Fire Station
The 2nd Houston and Crosslee Brownies all had a very exciting and informative trip to the fire station on Wednesday 21st September. They were told all about the different incidents that the fire fighters have to attend and were told about how to try and prevent fires- they even had to act out phoning 999 so that they knew what information would be needed if they ever had to make an emergency call. The girls then got to go into the fire engines and listen to the incredibly noisy sirens before having a shot of the very heavy hose! The girls also got a tour round the fire station having a look at where the fire fighters go to sleep. All of the girls seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves and now know a lot more about fire safety- the girls have now all gained their Brownie Fire Safety Badge- Well Done!
