The Guild meets in the Church Hall on alternate Tuesdays at 1930 during the session.
New members will be made very welcome.
At our November 15th meeting at 7.30pm in the Church halls Valerie Reilly will give us a talk entitled "Marmalade and Mealie puddings - Some Traditional Scottish Foods". This should be a very interesting evening.
Sunday November 20th is the start of Guild Week 2011 and the Dedication of the Guild will take place during morning worship at 11am.
A reminder for everyone not just Guild members that our main fund - raiser for the session takes place on Saturday 26th November. This will again take the form of a Victorian Christmas Market. It takes place in the Church halls on Main Street from 10.30am - 1.00pm. There will be hot rolls, home baking and preserves, toiletries, crafts, books and toys, jewellery,competitions, tombola and of course Santa. Entry is £2.00 for Adults and £1.00 for Children and includes tea or coffee with either a mince pie or shortbread. So please come along to support us and get some Christmas shopping done!
At our last meeting in November on Tuesday 29th there will be a change of speaker to that on the syllabus. Mrs Margaret McBride will speak to us on the charity "Mary's Meals". Members will remember that we should have had a speaker from this charity last session but he was unable to come and so we look forward to hearing Mary on the 29th.
